    MASCHERA - again
MASCHERA is an awesome band, however not many people know about them today. Mainly because their stuff is pretty hard to find right now, I believe almost everything is out of print and also because they disbanded 7 years ago.

They started in 1992 with MICHI (vocals), TAKUYA (guitar), HIRO (bass) and TOMO (drums) but only had their big break 5 years later with the VK boom when pretty much everyone went major. When they started they had the standard Visual Kei sound, very LUNA SEA influenced, however when they went major they added more keyboards to their sound and some samples.

The band is extremely solid but the thing that sets them apart from other bands is definetely MICHI's voice, he's sings in key and has a very pleasant tone and that's quite a lot in the VK scene, You can tell he really likes Atsushi Sakurai from the way he sings and I always thought he sounded a little bit like Morrie from DEAD END too but that's just me. Definetely recommended if you like BUCK-TICK, LUNA SEA, L'Arc~en~Ciel and Gackt.
    I hope you like it.

    Color

Charlotte Discography

Form left to right: Ruka (bass), Mitsujo (guitar), Kazuno (vocal), Touya (guitar) and Takane (drums)

Arguably the best Oshare Kei band ever. To me the best Oshare band ever, as much as I like baroque, An Cafe or Clavier these guys are the most fun and entretaining Oshare Kei band that I've ever listened. They've been around since 2001 however they don't have as many fans as they should, though they are not known like An Cafe and other Oshare bands, Charlotte became major last year and released their first full album called Sharu de Nashi Blues.

    BUG Discography

From left to right: Takeshi (drums), kyo (vocals) ASAKI (guitar) and TAKASHI (bass)

This band is awesome, they have a pretty rocking sound, it's heavy, melodic and full of cool samples, and they are not appreciated enough even with the amount of great musicians in it, but the average jrock fan does not even know BUCK-TICK much less a band with ex. Guniw Tools and Die in Cries members. Hell, I've seen some kids who don't even know who Yoshiki and Sugizo are.

Anyway, a friend requested them and I uploaded everything I have, which is pretty close to their complete discography, I'm only missing 1 single.

I uploaded this for a friend and didn't want the links to go to waste. Ok, now about the band, you probably remember Kyo from the ~awesome~ D'ERLANGER and of course you all know Yukihiro from L'Arc~en~Ciel and ZI:KILL, after D'ERLANGER disbanding Kyo started DIE IN CRIES with Yuki, the guitarrist Shin and the bassist Takashi.

Despite what some jrock fans may think, they were an extremely successful band, always in the Oricon top 10 and playing big venues like Budoukan. Unfortunetely they disbanded in 1995, Kyo went solo, and in 2001 formed BUG with Shin and Takashi. Yuki of course went to Laruku and became waaaaaaay more famous than he already was. Their sound is basically early 90's VK, (think LUNA SEA and late D'ERLANGER) melodic but with a dark atmosphere and lots of samples and eletronic thingies.

    DIE IN CRIES goodies )

Recomended albums: Their "self-cover" album Classique Ave. no Tobenai Tori is awesome and NODE is fantastic.
Recomended Songs: MELODIES (I think this is their biggest hit and it reflects their sound pretty well) Through the Looking Glass, Nocturne, (with my song) to you, Beardsley no Puzzle, Judas or Jesus?, Kuchizuke, I Wish You'll be Happy etc... they have tons of really great songs.

As you can see, this time I didn't include the covers like I usually do because I didn't found any cover with a good resolution and I don't have a scanner. So this is kind of a request, if you have their covers please upload in photobucket or something so I can include here.

    Gastunk
Legendary Crossover band, and one of the most influentional bands out there, just to name two bands influenced by them: DEAD END and X Japan. They have a very raw and heavy sound, mixing Hardcore and Thrash Metal with a hint of bands from the NWOBHM so it's definetely not for everybody, but don't worry they have plenty of cool melodies and bitchin' guitar solos. Officially they disbanded 18 years ago but played some reunion shows in 1999 and last year and their OHP still works (http://www.arden.to/gastunk/) so I don't know.

    GASTUNK Discography )

If you're a fan of early X or Hardcore or you just like headbanging like a maniac, I recommend their first album Dead Song, if you're a fan of melodic metal, hard rock and NWOBHM I reccomend their last album Mother, it's not raw but it's still pretty heavy.

PS: I do have their 2 live albums, The End and Rest in Peace and I'm going to upload them 'till Saturday.

    MORRIE Discography
MORRIE's solo discography, his solo stuff is quite different from Creature Creature and DEAD END, it's way more experimental and pop, filled with post-punk, new wave and jazz influences (and crappy early 80's-like keyboards and synths). It's absolutely great, if you like Gackt, BUCK-TICK or L'arc~en~Ciel there's a big chance that you'll enjoy it, plus the man sings like a god.

    Morrie Discography )

Personal favorites: Kage (my favorite song, his interpretation is fantastic), PANIC no me, Kanki E, Paradox, Hakai Shiyou, Sayonara Tori Aezu and Barairo ni Somaru.

    Enjoy!

    DEAD END Discography
Finally, here's DEAD END's discography I didn't include Ghost of Romance because [info]bridgetlover already uploaded that a couple of days back . It includes DEAD LINE, Shambara and ZERO, their 2 live albums Live Act 1 and 2, All in One, Infinity and Grave of the Shadow that was a live-only release before Ghost of Romance.

DEAD END started as a heavy metal band, their first album is dark, heavy and pretty damn cool, after that they started to experiment more with their sound and became less angry and heavy but still managed to sound fantstic.

Definetely a band to check out if you like LUNA SEA, BUCK-TICK, Janne da Arc, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Kagerou and Kuroyume and other stuff like that.
